  • I got my new custom necklace in the mail on Friday and I love it. It's not the best picture, but you get the idea, right? I can tell that it will bring me a lot of happiness, it makes me smile just to touch the discs and think of each of the children. And I'm also loving my simple little ring that says "kitten" on it. For anyone interested, look here: http://lisaleonardonline.com
  • I'm thankful for a husband who was very helpful this weekend, emptying the dishwasher, making beds, bringing the groceries up the flights of stairs, and taking Josiah for a very long walk on Sunday afternoon. Oh, and letting me sleep until 7:30 every day. Thank you, Kitten.
  • I'm thankful for more tomatoes. Very thankful...
  • I'm thankful for having great neighbors, especially our friends across the hall. Josiah and Annika spent time over with the kids this week, they spent time over here, and we all spent some time in the basement playroom. It's so nice to have friends 5' away! All of our neighbors are really great...I think that this may be the only thing I'll miss about stairwell living. The community. I'm extra thankful because when I think about how awful it would be to have bad neighbors in this little space...shudder!
  • I'm thankful because I have probably the best sister ever, who remembered my birthday is tomorrow. Thanks, Gen! I ordered my new slippers in chocolate brown, they are adorable.
  • I'm thankful that I was able to let the first four groups of Annika's outgrown clothes go with no tears, only a good feeling that they were going to another sweet little girl who will enjoy them. Well, and the $85 I got for them helped ease my pain, too. I've listed seven more lots of clothing...hopefully those will sell soon as well. I'm just happy that I wasn't up all night, lamenting the departure of those sweet little things.
  • I'm thankful for 1-1/2 hours on the playground today without incident and all of it spent chatting with my neighbor/friend/fellow mother.
  • I'm thankful that my son just walked up and handed me another birthday card...what a treasure. Both the boy and the card!

Your list keeps growing and growing! Everything you mentioned is very good.

I'm glad you got your necklace with the discs for each of your darlings. I know you will always treasure it.

Here's an early "Happy Birthday" wish!

Your Mum and I were talking about the night before our first treasure arrived. We went to the drive in in Navarre in the old Mustang and were trying to remember what the double feature was. It was a beautiful night all around. Happy Birthday Rachel.

I forget that I arrived a little early! I surprised that Mom would want to sit through a double feature...I can't even sit through a half-hour comedy at this point!
