No More Crawling...

I got a new vacuum! Yay!

I'm excited about this, and I'll bet my mom is excited about this. And that would be about all of the people excited by my new vacuum! It has this awesome feature that allows me to tell it to have ultra-high suction or lower suction, like for throw rugs. And, I can turn the brush head off in an instant to do hard floors. And, it has edging like you wouldn't believe. This thing is sucking up stuff 3' away from the head.

Which could be dangerous if Josiah doesn't pick up all his Legos.

Anyway, I got a pull-along canister, so no more crawling around using the hose from the upright to vacuum the floor. I'm evolving!

I totally took Hans into consideration when I made this purchase--I chose the vacuum that people on Amazon said looked like "R2D2".

No one can say that I don't love my husband!

Oooh. I'm so jealous. My "industrial" vacuum cleaner has not worked in years. I really should take it in to be fixed.

My brother got a roomba for his birthday last week. It is so cool to watch it work its way around the room looking for crumbs to pick up.

Happy cleaning!
Don't want to be known as a "lurker".
What kind is the new vacuum? Is it German or American?
Love the pictures. Annika looks so much taller than she was in July.

Janet, my new vacuum is just a Hoover, nothing too exotic. Hans had borrowed a Dyson from the family across the hall and really liked it, so when I told him I had ordered a new vacuum, he immediately asked if it was a Dyson. Apparently, he wouldn't have cared if I would have spent $600 on a vacuum. Wish I would have known that beforehand! Oh well, I am very happy with my Hoover.

Oooh, is it bagless? And does it have a "Power Paw" like mine does? The power paw vacuums vertical surfaces also...a key when you have two giant labs shedding all over the place. And does it have a blind cleaner attachment with its own special suction?

Ah, my heart leapeth with joy. Alas, my two daughters...talking about and LOVING vacuum cleaners. Sigh...my work is done.

Nope, no "power paw"...this is one reason I DO NOT miss having dogs. Much less hair around, though Hans sheds quite a bit. No blind cleaner attachment--haha, like you ACTUALLY use that Gen! Whatever.
