Zugspitze means blustery peak in German. The shots don't do it justice. You can see skiers if you look very closely at the second picture down. These people were a good 500 meters further down from us. In that same picture, Innsbruck Austria is off in the distance. Zugspitze itself is on the border between Germany and Austria and there used to be a border crossing station up there until everyone in the EU took their stations down. We had coffee in Austria as we watched the snowstorm roll in below us. Pretty cool.
