Just for Giggles. Seriously...

Here's a website that I have visited a few times in the past. It's pretty damn funny. I have no idea if these folks are truly writing Handbag and asking for baby naming advice or if it's one big joke. Some of these are just too good to be true.

And again, may I note that I just find this generally amusing, it is no way commentary on anyone's choices. OK? Please? I promise. In fact, I see a baby name in here (albeit in a different spelling than I would choose) that I have in mind if we would ever have another girl.

Okay, that site definitely needs perusing! Very funny! Gosh, we should have been more inventive...like Rachelle or Genyvyve or we could have called Eli, "Even" so then he would have REALLY fit his personality - Even Kuehl.

I was thinking...you know, Josiah is probably the only kid around with the middle name Snelling, so when it comes to "different", Hans and I are there too. To some extent, anyway. I would have preferred Raychelle. Actually, most people spell my name Raechel, which I think is strange, as to me, Rachel is the simpler of the two.

Some very funny stuff there. Seriously, what is it with all the 'y's? Though I do have to admit that 'Pytor' would have been a pretty cool name. Hmmmmm...

Dammit Jan! I could have been
"Gynyvyyve Gryce Elyece"...
Rachel, "Snelling" is a different name, but at least you put it in the middle.
Unique names are great (Genevieve, Eli, Josiah)--weird names that nobody has a clue how to pronounce and just have random vowels and letters added...irk me to no end. Sorry if I'm offending anyone, but I truly can't help it! It's one of the few things that make me want to poke my own eyes out just so I can't read the name.
