Toof

Good Lord, my almost three-month-old is busting out his first tooth! He hasn't been overly cranky or anything...I just noticed that he's been gnawing on his fingers and fist a lot more than usual and sure enough, when I rubbed his gums, I felt the very tiniest rough corner emerging.

Noooooo!!

Why oh why do they have to grow up so quickly? I just want him to stay a baby for a few more weeks...

The toofie and also (so jinxing it by writing about it): he is sleeping from 7:00-8:00 until 4:00-5:00 a.m. Which is great, but...I sort of miss seeing him in the middle of the night. I know, I know. Why can't Rachel EVER be happy?

With two other children clamoring for my attention, middle of the night wake-ups were almost the only time I got all alone in silence with Will.

Sigh. I guess this last time is just a little more bittersweet because I know I won't ever go through these stages again, so I'm trying to slow down and enjoy Will to the fullest. He makes it easy because he's a sweet, uncomplaining, happy little guy, but...I just wish he wouldn't be in such a hurry.

Slow down, Sweet William!

I'd better start looking for airline tickets so I can get over there to see Will before he is walking!

WOW! A tooth already! (Dahlia's first tooth came at 18 months....doh!). Yeah, it goes fast. I'm trying to enjoy this pregnancy (every. last. bit) too because I know that this is the last time!

Sweet little Will will ALWAYS be your baby... :)

I catch myself holding Marshall just a little bit longer now too at night because he is so "busy" during the day. Teeth already, WOW! Give him a little hug for me!

He has been by far the easiest of all of our kids when it comes to reacting to getting a tooth. So far.
