You Asked, I Listened

Josiah, practicing yesterday. He's on book four, the last lesson book and then he moves on to song books. He's just started learning to pick.

Strangely enough, like so many other men on the De For side of the family, he doesn't like to have his picture taken, but he acquiesced to a picture from behind.

Annika, in her room, intent on playing PetPals.
Baby toes...or rather, toddler toes.

It's expressions like these that remind me that he's Hans' son!

And ones like these that remind me that he's my son--'cause I'm smiling ALL the time, right?!

People have said that he looks like Annika--every once in awhile I catch a glimpse. Which means that all three of my children look more like Hans than me. It's probably better that way, anyway...he's so handsome (can you tell he's been gone for six weeks?).

Post Annika's birthday cupcake

These are very late--February 15th

Well, I know what you're all thinking: Rachel just can't stay away from blogging. Here I am, back again, but the break was very nice. I started a blog just for myself in the meantime, where I can go and sort of unload. Obviously, that blog is not meant for anyone's eyes but my own. I just wanted to post a few pictures and give the Grandmas a thrill for the day. Maybe I'll stop back again soon...we shall see! In the meantime, enjoy these pictures of my astonishingly beautiful and delicious, albeit very sassy, children!

Oh nice. I've really missed your blog (and Gen's and Eli's).

Thank-you. You are most kind. The pictures are great. Joe, Annie, and Will are a blend of their parents, that's for sure! Joe does have your coloring more...and your musical talent. But they all have your smarts too! :)

Thanks again. Whenever you feel like blogging, know that we appreciate it.

Love ya!

Thats a great bunch of pictures, for sure. I keep telling you that you have an eye for that. You said it best in the last sentence of your blog, about our grandkids. I miss the time we spent with you guys. I need to get off my duff and get something posted again, I am thinking of stuff to say all the time but don't sit down and type.

Yay!!! I'm thrilled to see a new entry! I loved all of the pictures and the little comments. All three of the kids are good looking, above average, and most of all - have good hearts (love for others).

Thank you for posting again, Rachel. I've missed you and the family!
I must say that I didn't give up on your blog! I know that I don't write as much as I should, just like your father said, I think of stuff, but when I'm at the computer, I tend to look at everything else.
thanks for the beautiful pictures of your three beautiful children.
Annika's hair is straight now. Cassie's hair is natural curly and she uses a straightener.
Thanks again, Rachel!
