First Major Trip

One last thing! I booked us a trip here for the first weekend in February: http://www.centerparcs.com.

We are going to one of the resorts in Holland and may try to visit Amsterdam at the same time.

I'm so glad to have our first major trip of the year planned. I hope that we can do some smaller daytrips in January near Stuttgart.

Tschuss!

the family that lived in your 'old' apt used to go there all the time, we never made it but my brother and his wife goes to that one and loves it; can't wait to see pics

I hope that you get to do a lot of traveling in Europe this year. Do you think of Spain or southern France, places that sound so nice when I read of them? Enjoy the trip to Holland.

Celine, want to come along? We'll put you to work! ;)

I'm terrified of having to wear a swimsuit. Why don't places make those early 1900s type swimsuits with the stockings and bloomers anymore? Dang.

Dad, I do think of Spain a little, especially since Hans speaks excellent Spanish. I wouldn't mind seeing Madrid. And I wouldn't mind seeing Provence. I think 2010 is the year of heading northwards though...Scandinavia, northern Germany (aka Kuehl country), possibly Ireland.

As you probably already knew, I'm thrilled you're going to The Netherlands! I must say, I prefer the small towns to the large cities. But no matter what, it's a very small country and you'll see lots of nice places.
