Possible Bestsellers

As I've mentioned before, Josiah has once again become obsessed with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. He even had me Google Bill Martin, Jr. the other day so that he could see a picture of him (that's the author)...unfortunately, Mr. Martin passed away in 2004, otherwise, I would send him a letter to tell him how much Josiah loves his work. And suggesting these titles that Josiah has concocted:

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom At the Park
Chicka Chicka 123 Spring
Chicka Chicka Go To the Dinosaur Museum
Chicka Chicka 123 Christmas
Chicka Chicka 123 Go To Space
Chicka Chicka 123 Go to the Zoo
Chicka Chicka 123 Summer
Chicka Chicka 123 Go to Paris

This is but a small selection of the unending Chicka Chicka Boom Boom/123 saga that Josiah has going. Half of these books are fully written and illustrated...I need to pick a couple of the choicest and find a company that will take my scans and bind them into book form.

I kid you not, if I bound all the work he's been doing on these lately, it would rival Gone With The Wind in terms of heft!

I've just been wanting to share some of the things floating around in Josiah's head. Note to grandparents: those of you waiting for school pictures may be disappointed to find out that of the seven or so pictures the photographer took, Josiah is sticking his tongue out or making a face like he ate a lemon...so...we're probably NOT going to be ordering any of his school pictures this year. Sorry to disappoint...I told him at least he's saving us approximately $212 by being a complete goofball (I kid you not--school pictures are ridiculously expensive!!).

P.S: New pictures of everyone soon, promise.

I hope to get an autographed copy of Josiah's book when it is released! Please let him know I am impressed.

As for pictures of everyone, I'm looking forward to that as well! I love the ones posted of William so far. How precious he is.

Ah, yes, school pictures. Do they have a little annual or booklet that they make of everyone? It'll be interesting for Joe to look back on his picture someday.
And you know us SO well...we never get enough pictures!
Take care of yourself, hon!

I know that Joe has a great smile as I have seen it often enough. I think that deliberately smiling for pictures ain't easy. I am looking forward to seeing his book. Take care.
