Garmisch at Christmas

Downtown Garmisch, near the Christmas Market

Live music at the Christmas Market

A cafe--note the seats each have a sheepskin and a throw blanket, to get cozy!

Grasegger, the store where I bought my dirndl

Typical cafe/restaurant in Garmisch--jealous, Scuba?

Do we go to typical Garmisch restaurants? Nope, we go to McDonald's.

But you have to admit, a very charming-looking McDonald's!?

What a good string of pictures! I will have to agree with you about McDonalds, I tend to eat at places where I am familiar with the menu. Like Subway where I always have the Spicy Italian on wheat. What the heck, it's good and I don't like surprises. I wish that I was able to eat one right now, maybe in the future.

Wow! Beautiful, classy, clean...what I loved about Germany. Can you take a pic of you in your dirndl sometime? Have a good time Sunday at the Christmas Mart...I can't remember the name of the town...

It looks like a fun place! Great pictures. I can not believe how grown up Joe and Annika are getting.

I have ALWAYS loved the Bavarian architecture, painted buildings, and of course, the clothes. But even better than that is seeing my family enjoy it too.

I agree with Heidi, Josiah and Annika are growing up so fast!
