Being "on" takes so much energy

Pre-festivities, Mr. Tiger, GRRRRRR!

After trick-or-treating (note that their faces aren't smeared with chocolate)

Sorry for the lack of pictures lately. Our connection is moody. One day it is very, very slow and the next day it is very fast. Obviously, it is a bipolar connection. Today was a mostly bad day, but suddenly in the afternoon, it perked up and so...here are some pictures for the starving grandmothers. You can also get a little view of the bunker. Hard to believe but Monday it will be two weeks since we "moved in"!

Enjoying the Wii. I have played bowling a few times now. It's addicting, definitely. Plus, I don't have to wear those ugly shoes that 4,256 other people have worn. Or wait for the ball return. It's pretty sweet. Hans has tried tennis, bowling and boxing. He boxed yesterday and worked up a good sweat, which I thought was funny. How does one work up a sweat playing video games? Then I tried it. It is actually strenuous. Now I'm wondering if Billy Blanks makes a Wii Tae-Bo video. That would be cool.

Titi Heidi is here right now. Right this minute, live in the bunker! She came in on Thursday evening. We haven't been doing too much. We did go to Providence to do a little shopping yesterday. Had a good lunch at Pizzeria Uno. De-lish! The kids have (mostly) been behaving. Hopefully Titi Heidi isn't too horrified by their naughtiness. She and I got a good workout in last night at the base gym. Today, we visited the park and had lunch at Panera. Everyone has had a good nap. It is a gray, windy and chilly day in Newport. We have broken out the hats and heavier coats.

Anyway, enjoy the pictures. As for my comment about them not having any chocolate on their faces, the fact of the matter is that Hans and I ate 9/10ths of their candy. It's just better that way. For everyone.

Yes, note who comments first...the starving grandmothers! Cute little tiger. And I see our little ladybug is still doing her quilt-lick. Kinda hard to tell on the tiger, but the ladybug looks like she's gotten taller. You, Rach, look great. I REALLY appreciate getting pix of you...thanks, Hans!
