Be Warned, You Will Feel Neutral

Zurich....zzzzzzz

Still awake?

Annika tried spaghetti for the first time...WHY will she eat pasta in every other format but until Saturday, screamed whenever we placed spaghetti in front of her? Sure's shootin', once she tasted it, she realized her grievous error and snarfed down the entire bowl. Thus, the popsicle--"For Bravery".

Dr. Strangelove 1526?

The obligatory preggo pic for the grandma-types--don't you love how my belly button has become such a prominent feature? I should tell Josiah and Annika that it's an all-seeing eye...

Josiah isn't sure whether or not he's enjoying Zurich

Swiss history museum...
OK, there's not a lot to say about Zurich. Nice hotel room. Everything was extremely clean. The people are beautiful and very polite. Everyday items such as tram seating show a great love of modern design. Did I mention how clean it is?
I was telling a friend today that we found Zurich a little ho-hum. She laughed and said "What a world traveller, to go about saying Zurich is a bit dull!". She thought that was pretty funny. It's just true...it was nice, but none of us were bowled over by Zurich.
I am of course grateful to have had the chance to have seen a little bit more of Switzerland. Please don't think I'm that seasoned as a traveller. Just take my advice: if you're travelling to Europe, consider Zurich but don't make it the top of your list.
This has been a public service announcement. Now wipe the drool off your chin and go read Dooce or something exciting...

I can't believe Annie is just now liking spaghetti! Wow, how your menu has broadened with that big step. Joe is looking very much like a young man about ready to start school. Wah! Rachie, you look beautiful. Pregnancy becomes you, mother earth.

I do feel a little neutral after reading your blog. I'm gonna pop a couple aspirin...

The kids are as beautiful as ever! Oh, how I have missed seeing them. And you look wonderful, Rachel!

I liked seeing the Edelweiss on the banner in the last photo. I think everything looked lovely - much nicer than here.

Joe needs to waving a big ten gallon hat to complete the Dr. Strangelove impression. I think that you will miss the cleanliness of things when you get back to the good ol Us of A. In reply to your comment on my blog, it is really dry in that area.

My belly button popped right away with Aaron. I noticed my sister's has too when I saw her this weekend, and she is due in December. You all are looking great!!!
Cute pictures, Rachel. I think you look absolutely wonderful.

It was so much fun getting to visit with your parents on Sunday.
