What is it with Kissing Goats?

"How about a hug and kiss, baby goat?"

Josiah, as always kissing the wrong end of the goat, God bless him.

Butterfly garden

Ahhh. We are home from a long and productive day at Stuttgart's fine Wilhelma Zoo. I expected us to spend maybe two hours there and we ended up spending a little over four. I'm always happy when we: (a) linger and enjoy; and (b) get our Euro's worth! Wilhelma is a truly beautiful zoo as well...full of beautiful old Moorish-inspired architecture, greenhouses and gardens, and not only zoo animals but a full compliment of barnyard animals. Oh, and an aquarium and an insect house with a great butterfly room.
I will say that this trip to the zoo was a million times better than the last trip (see: Annika falling in goat poo), most likely because Hans was along and manhandling one or the other of the children at all times. I don't think I could have gone alone right now anyway...the sheer number of times I was forced to visit the bathroom would have made it all but impossible.

Enjoy the pictures. Yes, that's me Josiah's hugging, not one of the sea lions! Thank goodness none of the zoo personnel tried to feed me a fish or anything...
Guten Tag!

Rach, I really appreciate the picture of YOU. You are looking radiant...must be Annie NOT falling in the goat poo that brings out your radiance. :) Seriously, you look GREAT! As always, kids are darling, darling. Hans looks pretty relaxed too. So glad he's home!

Looks like a nice, relaxing day. I had to laugh at the butt kiss that Josiah gave to the goat! Like you say--bless his little heart!!!

You look great. (Cute shoes too!)

I think that the kiddos would get a big kick out of the Reptile Gardens in the Hills. Although there wouild be no kissing the cobras I'm sure. I will have to agree with the rest of the comments that you all look great particularly you, Rachel. Take care.
I concur on all your other comments left by family and friends. Fantastic pictures...makes me miss you a little more. What a beautiful family!
Thanks for the new pictures. It was so great to see pictures of each one of you. You are really looking great as an expectant Mom.

The kids are really getting so big.
