Next Stop--Kindergarten

As usual, I have these backwards...tossing their caps post-ceremony!

Josiah with his "diploma"

Annie trying to hula-hoop (and the haircut per Mom's request)

Riding trikes at school (of course, NO shoes!)

Today was Josiah's big graduation from preschool. Hey--at least this year he participated in the ceremony and the diplomas were laminated. Last year at graduation, he refused to join in and Annika had to stand proxy for him! Anyway, things went smoothly and now he's officially all done with preschool...next stop kindergarten!

Congratulations, Josiah! Oh, how I wish I could have been there. You look so grown up. Rachel, please tell him how proud of him I am!

Annika, your new hair style is adorable. Oh, how I miss all of you!

I know next week will be a very special one for you. It will be an answer to prayer for me as you welcome your daddy back home.

Oh, Rach...before you know it, it'll be high school. Sniff...

CONGRATULATIONS, Joe! A big step in your journey...
Oh my gosh, he looks so grown up. Congratulations, Josiah!

Thanks for the new pictures, and how exciting for all of you to have Hans back in Germany real soon.

It looks as if it was "a sunny day" for the big event. It always amazes me to see how fast kids grow up when you are not always in contact with them. I also cannot get over the head of hair that Annie has, it is beautiful. We have Joe's artwork hanging on the refrigerator, so we can admire his talent. Take care.

Didn't our daughter have curly hair?

Did they march in with Pomp and Circumstance playing? So very cute.

What did happen to Annika's curls?

Unfortunately, the curls are almost gone. She still has some around her face that get pretty curly, but the ones in the back are all but gone, they only show as body and the ends all curl under so nicely.

She'll never be curly like she was two summers ago...

I have to let it go like I'm having to let the baby girl clothes go...

My hair (when I let it grow) is the same - body and waves. When I was little, I had curls too. I believe Hans's hair would be the same, if he could/would only let it grow.
