I am Seven, Going on Seventeen!

February 16, 2006--One day old.  In some mysterious crevice of this computer are her brand new, in the delivery room pictures, but I can't seem to locate them this morning.  One day old will have to do!

Grandma and Grandpa made it to Japan!  I am thrilled that they got to visit at least one of my babies in the hospital.  It's a little lonely when you're very far from home and your extended family isn't there to celebrate your babies in the hospital.  Look at her sweet, round little head, aww!

I always liked this one of three generations of women.

She got a lot of snuggle time in her first two weeks.

I still remember how happy it made me to buy her pretty little pink things--I kept this tiny sleeper.

A snapshot of a newly formed family of four.  The Four De Fors.

1 - Newport

2 - Stuttgart (how I miss the curls)

 3 - Stuttgart

Josiah helped her unwrap her gifts and then she got some hugs.

4 - Stuttgart (now she's middle of the pack)

5 - Disneyworld

6 - Party at Kangaroo Jac's

I'll get pictures of seven on soon!  She was up very early this morning to open her presents and have a pancake breakfast.  She and Josiah have school and gymnastics afterwards and then the boys are going to Parent's Night Out at the YMCA and she and I are going on a girl date.  I have heard several different suggestions as to what we'll be doing--Dairy Queen, Target, the mall, a movie.  I'm not sure what exactly she's settled on, so we will see what she decides.  Life has been an adventure with Annika since 7:39 (actually 6:00 p.m.) on February 15, 2006 and I don't expect it's going to get any duller!  Thank you, Lord, for my one and only baby girl--a firecracker, a tomboy, equal parts sweetness and naughtiness, smart as a whip, seven going on seventeen!  We love you more than we can say--Mommy, Daddy, Josiah and William.
