Killesberg & The Update

Josiah and our coal-fired train

Built in 1950 (and wow, sitting in an open car behind the coal smoke was heady)

Will in his new wheels, waiting with Grandma for us to get off the train

Hans, Josiah & Annika climbed the observation tower

Checking out the ducks--Josiah later came home and declared he might like to "shoot a duck" someday. I told him to call Uncle Scuba.

So, I know posting has been light lately, but that's due to many factors, including the fact that my mother-in-law is here, we've been travelling, I've been studying, I didn't have anything too newsworthy to share, and the series finale of Lost was on and has rendered me inconsolable. It was pretty darn good, though there are about 142 questions that we'll never get the answers to!
More blogging soon.

I did not know that you could see "Lost" over there. I thought about sending you some teasers. I hate to admit it but I teared up at the end. Hmmm, didn't M. Night Shamalon end that movie with Bruce Willis kind of like that? I definately want to see the whole nine yards sometime to illuminate the series. Also, does Germany have the coolest playgrounds etc. ever? You will never see anything like it here. I sent Joe's atlases today, I hope that he enjoys them.

This was a very nice day and we all had a very good time. You got some good photos, Rachel!
Love the photos! Love that park...wait until the wind blows hard and you are trying to walk up or down those stairs! Europe have unique playgrounds for sure!
