Home Again, Part X

We are in the phase of "one or two boxes" in each room, which is the phase just before "hanging pictures and arranging décor", after which comes "fine tune organization".

I am in shock at the amount of work that we were able to accomplish this week, it hasn't even BEEN a week.  I couldn't have done this on my own.  I give 100% of the credit to my parents, who (as usual) have been amazing and have worked their fingers to the bone to help me get organized and unpacked.  They just don't stop...I begged them to a couple of times, to take a minute and relax and they just didn't listen.  Thank you, you two.  I love you and I'm really, really going to miss having your helping hands here...

Just a couple of pictures, exterior only because the interior is still not 100%.

Joycey-Baby brought us the brass anchor door knocker as a housewarming gift.

Dad hung the flagpole, the knocker and the new mailbox on Friday.  Mom and I put solar lights in the landscaping.  I think the beds need some edging, but otherwise the front yard is good.  Oh--and we bought the flower basket at Home Depot.

We still have their milk box (the gray thing under the old mailbox) and it has an old bottle in it, still capped but broken.

Annika with her classmate and friend Abby, who lives down the street.  There are approximately 1,264 kids on this long block.  It's pretty much awesome that they get home from school and run out the door.

Will and Josiah on the front step.

Jedi practice--what a face!

Yours truly and the Commander
