Hans & Josiah at Fort Adams

Skirmish (the GAR won)

Josiah's first lesson in digital photography

Josiah's Try #15--not too bad (we rent him out for special events)

Awaiting the birthday cake

Hans (smiling!!!!) and his birthday cake

Trying on hats at Fort Adams

My son don't go for no butternut homespun forage cap, he's a Yankee!

Go, 1st Minnesota!

The new toddler transporter. Annika loves sitting in the front--no more looking at the back of Josiah's head. Josiah's seat is the bench just behind her. And no, there aren't two sets of nicely tanned legs attached to the handlebar, though the feet would be handy to hang bags from!

Looks like fun. I love the Josiah-taken pictures. How is he with a video camera? I could use an assistant this weekend.

Joe is getting more technically adept all the time! I'm glad he can take pix now cause I'm always glad to get a glimpse of YOU too! Hans is really perfecting his smile. Joe looks like a little Amish boy in the straw hat. Annie's on the move...

Great job, Josiah! I loved the new photos. I agree, Josiah does look Amish, except they don't wear plaid.
Hans, you are still very good looking! Happy birthday ~ your cake looked delicious.
As always, I love the new photos. It makes it easier to be so far away. (This goes for all of my kids. :-))
Great pictures! I love the one of Hans smiling. The cake looks delicious.
Looks like a neat stroller.

I busted out laughing in the Amish picture. That is great! I had to show everyone because they were wondering what I was snorting at.

Ha! At last I can comment! A miracle!

Sorry. Blogger and I are having some problems.

*ahem* Gotta love both the straw hat ("Come, Joe Book, we're raising a barn today!") and the true allegiance to the Grand Old Cause; does Joe do daguerreotypes as well?
